We fulfilled our community service project during this meeting tonite -- we took the Girl Scouts out Christmas caroling at the Countryside Senior Living Center! The evening was very delightful... the girls all gathered in the main foyer and entertained the residents with many Christmas carols! Some of the residents even sang along!! We capped the evening off with a game of Santa Bingo in the dining room with the residents as partners!! It was an enjoyable evening for all!!
The highlight of the evening for the girls was a parrot named Moses! Moses is also a "resident" of the Senior Living Center and has a cage in the main foyer. He kept saying "hello" to the girls while they were standing around waiting to start caroling! I think he was also trying to sing along with some of the carols! Every once in a while, he would squawk during a song like he was singing! Check out the pictures!
