Community Service Project...

Our Super Market Saturday community service project was a huge success!! Every shopper that came into the store was friendly and courteous while the girl scouts told them about why they were there and what they could do to help! The girls had lots of fun and will be sure to be involved in more community service projects in the future! Here are some pictures from the day!:

February 5 -- Manners...

Tonight our meeting was all about manners! We talked about using our manners when we are sitting together as a group at our meeting... how we used our manners when we were out selling girl scout cookies...

After talking about the different ways in which we should always use our manners, we got to split up into groups and take turns "acting out" a situation involving manners!! This was a lot of FUN!! We had a situation where a grandma called to talk to a grandchild on the phone, and another situation where we had to introduce a new friend to our old friends!! These situations taught us about who to address first when introducing people and showing respect for others! What a great meeting!!
